Dear Parents and Carers,

Congratulations to the children in years 4/5/6 who made their First Eucharist last weekend.  May God's blessing be upon you in your faith journey as full members of the Catholic Church.

Our building project is progressing nicely.  The plasterers are winding up their work and the joinery fitting has begun.  The painters will be starting next week.  We are on track for an early term 4 migration into the new classrooms.

Parents will be randomly selected to participate in the Insight SRC Survey next week.  This survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of parents' perceptions of their children’s experience of school.  The results will benefit everyone within the school by providing valuable information about the ways in which the school can use staff, student and parent input to plan programs and activities to improve your child's experience at school.  Participation is voluntary, however, the success of this important project is dependent on parents’ involvement.  Staff and Year 3-6 students will also participate in the survey.

Our Year 3/4 classes are heading off to the Roses Gap Camp with their Teachers and Learning Support Staff.  I wish them well and hope the weather improves for them.  I will be attending their first day of activities on Thursday and Peter Sanderson will be with them on Friday.

The Director of the Diocesan Catholic Education Office, Tom Sexton, is visiting our school on Friday.  He is keen to say hi to all the staff and teachers and to catch up on how the building project is progressing.

Kind regards,

Olga Lyons, Principal
