Welcome to Week 11 Term 1
Anzac Day
As Anzac Day falls in the school holidays this year, we will be holding our school Anzac Ceremony on Friday 8th April at 9.30am. On Anzac Day we invite all students to participate in the Swansea RSL commemorative march and service. We ask that students participating in the march meet Mrs Nebauer and Mrs Dallaway at the front of McDonald’s ready for an 11am start. Students are to come in full school uniform including a school hat. Parents will be able to meet their children at Swansea RSL Club at the end of the march or after the short memorial service which takes place at the front of the RSL Club.
Cross Country
Last Friday we held a very successful, albeit wet, school cross country event. Students should be commended for their participation and effort.
Celebration Assembly
Our Term 1 Celebration Assembly will take place this Thursday at 9.40am. On this day we will celebrate and congratulate students on their achievements throughout this term. We invite two family members of students receiving an award to come and join in this special event. Visitors will be required to QR code on entering the school and leave promptly after the ceremony.
Easter Hat Parade
Our Easter Hat Parade will be held this Friday 8th April from 12.00pm. We invite two family members per K-2 child to join the celebration and be entertained by our younger students. The P&C raffle will be drawn at the conclusion of the event. Reminder tomorrow is the final day to send in donations for the raffle.
Holidays
I would like to thank everyone for all their hard work this term. I look forward to seeing everyone in Term 2 after a well-earned holiday. Please have a fun relaxing holiday and stay safe. For students, Term 2 commences on Wednesday 27th April 2022.
