    Harmony Day

Blaxland Public School will be recognising Harmony Day on Friday 24th March. Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values.

Orange is the colour chosen to represent Harmony Week as it signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.

All students are asked to wear orange or a tone of orange on Friday the 24th of March. This colour represents that everyone belongs in Australia.

    In the Garden

I wish to thank the new families for coming along to our garden club, many hands make light work and there is always a lot of work to do in the garden. If you would like to join, we meet every Monday 2:30pm -3:00pm. I especially love seeing toddler siblings discovering and showing me what they find the in garden, they love to pick out all the bugs. We encourage everyone to wander around the garden and check out what is growing.

    Happy Gardening. Theresa (parent volunteer)
