Broken Hill North Public School

School Bulletin No. 27 2020

From the Principal

The table below provides a snapshot from last Wednesday of what supports are available for our kids and families and how we provide spaces for that support to occur. Our partnerships with the UDRH and external agencies have never been stronger or more purposeful.

Another reminder - A big thank you to our parents and non-essential visitors for following the guidelines currently in place and staying outside the perimeter of the school grounds. Obviously, there are times when parents need to come into the school but all that contact should be limited to the front office not classrooms.

Work is progressing well with our Cooler Classrooms Project, with minimal impact on our kids in their classrooms. The units upstairs in the administration block were tested last week and passed with flying colours. The contractor is confident it will be all systems go for the start of Term 4

If you haven’t got your enrolment forms from the front office it is time to do so.

Under the current COVID-19 guidelines we are able to run our school’s athletics and cross-country carnivals, which is great news for our kids. However, with the social distancing requirements it will restrict the involvement of our parent community. The track events for our athletics carnival is scheduled for Tuesday 15th September. Information and permission note will be heading home this week.
