St Mary's Bulletin

We held our first P&F Meeting for the year on Monday night.  The meeting was very productive and there was much discussed.  Thank you to all those that were able to make the meeting.  This year is a Fair year and the date set for the St Mary’s Fair is Saturday, 21 September.  Please put the date in your diary!

The School Board held its first meeting on Tuesday night.  Congratulations go to Erica Carlson – Board Chair, Melinda Carr – Treasurer and Melissa Davis – Secretary.

The Annual School Fees invoices were sent home on Thursday.  Fees can be paid either per term by dividing the amount into four, in regular instalments or in full. Health Care Card and Pensioner Concession Card holders can claim a substantial discount by filling in a form at the front office. This needs to be done in Term One and the current card needs to be sighted and copied.

School fees are compulsory and form a necessary part of what makes our school function as it does. It gives us the opportunity to provide the exceptional teachers, resources and learning experiences we have at St Mary’s School.  Any difficulties in meeting school fees can be discussed confidentially with me so that alternative arrangements can be made.

I will be attending the CEWA Leaders Forum on Monday, 25 February.  Mrs Riethmuller will also be at CEWA for NAPLAN Online PD.  Mrs Bianca Craine will be responsible for the school in our absence.
