End of Year Message from the P&C President

What a wonderful night it was at our Year 6 Farewell and Presentation night.  So great to see all of the amazing performances and celebrate students achievements.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude and appreciation to the wonderful teachers and staff of Wooli Public School.  Thank you for your significant contributions in the classroom and our community and for caring for our children.

I would like to thank Nick our amazing gardener. You add such a valuable and intrinsic element to our children’s learning and growth.

To Mrs Wilkie for keeping our school spick and span. Neville, our groundsman for all of your work in keeping the grounds maintained and the soccer field in top form.

Mel Smith for your time and patience in helping our kids find their voice and all of the after school hours events to enable the choir to perform.

To Gemma Armstrong, thanks for all of your support in the daily lives of our kids at school. And on excursions.

Jamie for your ongoing support day to day and your coaching for the winning soccer team and for the very special gift of bringing music to our school.

Ann, we love you.  Thank you for all of your patience and support.

Karen Armstrong, thank you for keeping us honest and auditing our books.

Tanya Howard the P&C secretary who has been running a book sales stall for a couple of years now and has contributed over $600 this year. Awesome.

Di and Peter from Wooli River Lodges who has been recycling and donating the profits to our school. Thankyou.

I have been a part of the P&C now for 10 years and have been privileged to be surrounded by an incredibly dedicated team of passionate parents who have supported and strengthened our school community’s achievements.

I extend my deepest appreciation to the core group of WPSP&C. Nicole, Melitta, Tanya, James, Mel and Gemma who have gone above and beyond their volunteering duties helping coordinate our fundraising efforts to further support our school financially and offer greater opportunities for our kids. A huge thankyou to all of you that have helped with donations and time.  This is what helps to make this school a great community.

So it is starting to sound a little bit like an Oscars speech, so I will leave it at that.  Once again, thank you to you, the parents and carers of our wonderful children.

Wishing you safe, healthy and happy holidays.

Annette

Congratulation to our Week 7 Award Recipients
