Parents and friends are welcome to attend.
Parent Teacher Interviews
Thank you to everyone who took the opportunity to meet with their child’s teacher this week. If you were unable to find a suitable time to meet, please make contact with your child’s teacher to organise a meeting.
Royal Far West Visit
We are very excited to be welcoming back our friendly clinicians from Royal Far West (RFW) from Monday 28 March to Friday 1 April, delivering a range of supports as part of the Bushfire Recovery Program. The visit includes the ‘Seasons for Growth’ children’s group, Occupational Therapy (OT) screening and Professional Learning for our teaching staff. The RFW Clinicians are also available for parents/carers appointments as required.
As part of professional learning for teaching staff, the OTs are spending time in each class to gain an understanding of how each classroom runs and provide advice to teachers on supporting learners’ regulation and attention in the classroom.
Thank you for all your help Jess, Cara and Billie!
Voluntary Contributions
Each year, parents are invited to make a small contribution towards the many resources and programs students have access to at school. The cost of our voluntary contributions remain unchanged at $35 per student or $60 per family. Payment can be made online using the ‘Make a Payment’ tab on the schools website or money can be sent in an envelope and placed in the money collection box located in the office waiting room.
School Support Dog
Our school is considering the option of engaging the services of a school support dog in line with strict Department of Education guidelines. School support dogs are used by some of our neighbouring primary schools to help improve the social and emotional wellbeing of students.
If you would like to discuss the possibility of our school going down this route or would like to share any concerns, please don't hesitate to make contact with me.
Have a great week,
Rod White
