Letter from the Principal

Tuesday May 12th 2020

Dear Families

I hope all the beautiful women in our community had a wonderful Mother’s Day.

A Message from our Year 6 Leaders

The latest advice on our return to school

No doubt you, as we did as a staff, listened carefully to the Premier Daniel Andrews Press Conference yesterday waiting for an announcement on when schools would be returning. The exact plan was not outlined yesterday however this morning we have been given some clarity.

Monday 25th May will be a pupil free day. (All students will be at home).

Tuesday 26th May: Prep, Year 1 & Year 2 will return to school.

Monday 9th June: Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 & Year 6 will return to school.

I will send home details in a separate letter outlining what our return to school will look like. It will be wonderful to be transitioning our children back to school! Stay safe and well everyone and thanks for your ongoing support as we navigate this next phase of our school Term.

Random Acts of Kindness

Our school photos have been postponed until later in the year. I loved the innovation from Mel, Jaiden, Lachie and Brody as they smiled for the cameras in isolation. What a great idea. A special keepsake for their family!

Please continue to share any random acts of kindness that you have seen or experienced during this period of isolation. Let’s spread the message of hope and joy as we reflect on the goodness of people.

You can email me cmason@sjferntreegully.catholic.edu.au

I would love to share your stories!
