Dudley Public School Newsletter

Term 4 Weeks 5 and 6

Principal’s Message

I'm not sure how it happened but we are half way through Term 4. Last week we welcomed our 2019 Kindergarten cohort to their first orientation session. It was wonderful to meet many of our new families and connect with our current parents who have another child starting their journey with us next year. The children were very excited and enjoyed meeting their Year 5 buddies. The leadership shown by our Year 5 students was wonderful.

We have a very busy calendar as we move towards the end of the year. Information will be available through our newsletter and Skoolbag app to help you attend the wonderful celebrations we have at the end of the year.

I recently attended the Primary Principals Association Conference in Sydney. This was an amazing opportunity to network with principals around the state, hear the latest information from our Education Minister Rob Stokes and engage with the future trends in education and the needs of our students. While it challenged me at times it was affirming that the path we are taking as a school will continue to build capacity in staff and students, preparing them for what is to come.
