We welcomed 5 new Kindergarten students last Monday. They are all settling into the school routine and enjoying their time in the K-1 Classroom with Mrs Essex, Mrs Armstrong and Fran. I am sure the Year 1 parents are wondering where the past year has gone. It only seems like yesterday when they were our fresh faced Kindies. Year 1 have taken on the role as mentors and they are all looking forward to a fun filled year together.
Thank you to everyone who attended and represented our school at our Swimming Carnival. The following students have been selected to compete at the Small Schools Swimming Carnival tomorrow in Grafton:
Girls - Nina Bibby, Jasmine Iredale, Sienna Molloy, Arie Cave, Ruby Iredale & Radha Blemmings-Turnbull.
Boys - Owen Howard, Isaac Bibby, Ruben Shanahan, Hunter Armstrong & Jasper Waern.

Wooli Public School will introduce a different fee structure for 2019. The fee will be much less than previous years as we have decided to trial charging for student activities and minor excursions separately.
There will be a base curriculum fee of $40 per child for the first 2 children and $20 for the 3 child enrolled from a family. This fee covers textbooks and student resources. Families will be invoiced shortly and can pay online through the school website. This fee must be paid by Friday the 17th of May 2019. If you have any queries, please contact the school office.
All students in years 2-6 must have their own coloured pencils, led pencils, pens, textas and headphones (over the ears).
Please ensure these items are all clearly labelled.
Our weekly School Assembly will be held each Wednesday at 12.30pm. Class awards will be presented at this assembly. Parents are welcome to attend.
Our End of Term Assembly will be held on Wednesday 10 April 2019 at 2pm. Major awards will be presented at this assembly including sporting awards. All are welcome to attend.
Thank you for the fantastic response in returning the Emergency Contact Sheets and General Permission forms. I understand at this time of the year you are bombarded with paperwork, but I do stress the importance of having all this information up-to-date. For those few families still to return their forms, I ask that you do so as soon as possible. Thank you for your co-operation.
