They played in an orchestra of some 90 primary aged musicians including violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba and percussion. They performed three exciting orchestral pieces; Radetzky March, The Moldau and Trepak. School Disco Helpers

The students are really looking forward to the disco this Friday with DJ Withers and DJ Betts! Are you able to help set up, clean up or serve food at the disco? The disco is a P&C run event and while we have support from the staff to supervise the children, the P&C rely on help from parents and carers to make the night a success. If you can help you can send a message through our Facebook site, email us, hammopandc@gmail.com  or contact Marlene on 0414 913 289.

Parents Helpers List

As you may have noticed, the P&C require help from parents and carers (and sometimes students)  for most of the things that we do. We are compiling a list of names of people that we can call on when events are coming up. If you are busy on the day, that’s fine, we understand. The sorts of things still to come this year include: ·

  • Fathers’ Day stall
  • The School Carols
  • Discos
  • Krispy Kreme orders
  • The Colour Run
  • Cake Stalls
  • Sausage Sizzles
  • Comedy Night
  • Behind the scenes organising
  • Behind the scenes purchasing
  • Funding application writing (with or without support)
  • Silver coin donation challenge

If you can help at any event in any way please send an email to hammopandc@gmail.com Include your name, contact details and the sorts of things that you prefer to help with.  We will send an email prior to each event requesting for help. Please do not hesitate to contact myself or any member of the P&C for information about any aspect of the P&C or our events.
