Wingham Public School Bulletin

Term 2 Week 2

PRINCIPALS MESSAGE

Welcome back to Term 2 I hope our students and staff enjoyed the Easter holiday. We have a busy and productive term ahead of us commencing with parent teacher conferences, Stage 3 Camp, an abundance of PSSA sporting activities and our own Athletics Carnival.

Thank you to the students and staff who represented our school at the town Anzac march. Our school all marched proudly in their uniforms and it was great to see so many students give up their own time for this significant event.

I would also like to thank our students for their absolutely wonderful behaviour at our Anzac Service last Friday. Everyone looked great and they were so respectful throughout the service, that the members of the Sub Branch who attended made comment about how engaged they all were. Thank you to Ms Jillian Oliver and Mr Terry Gould for addressing the assembly.  Well done to everyone at Wingham Public.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new teaching staff, we have Miss de Jong replacing Mrs Pitt in 5/6D and Mrs Christie replacing Mrs Yanez in 2M.
