As part of the Ecole-Collège-Lycée au Cinéma scheme organised by the CNC, (Centre National du Cinéma et de l'image animée), all Y1, Y2, Y6, Y8 and Y10 students of the LCS will attend several screenings this semester.
Two films chosen from the national selection 2019-2020 will be screened in the school and exploited pedagogically in class by teachers. This system will allow students to sharpen their viewer's eye and to build the foundations of a film culture.
Last week, Y4s discovered Wadjda, directed in 2012 by Haifaa Al-Mansour, the first Saudi woman filmmaker.
In addition, all our young spectators will have the privilege of attending a screening organised especially for them in a Sydney cinema, on the occasion of the Alliance Française French Film Festival from March 10 to April 8, 2020. These 350 tickets have been offered as part as our partnership by the Alliance Française.
Enjoy the film!
