Monday 30 November - Years K - 4 Murray Conservatorium Music Workshops.

Tuesday 1 December - Murray High School and James Fallon High School Orientation.

7 December - Presentation Day - K-2 9.30am, 3-6 10.30am.

9 - 11 December - Year 6 Camp - Great Aussie Resort.

14 December - Year 6 Graduation - Details to be advised.

16 December - Students last day of school for 2020.

SCHOOL NEWS

Year 6 Transition to High School Talks.

Year 6 classes have had the opportunity to have some transition to High School talks with Mrs Dupe our School Councillor. They asked her many questions about High School such as what happens if I get lost? Mrs Dupe explained the many differences about High School. She will meet with Year 6 again after their transition day next week and follow up with any more questions they may have. We thank Mrs Dupe for taking time to talk the Year 6 group.

NAIDOC Week 2020.

Swimming Trials Report.

Last week we headed to the Albury Pool and held our 2021 Swimming Trials Carnival.  Everyone pushed themselves and swam some personal bests for the day! It was held in great spirit with everyone cheering each other on. The winning house and Age Champions will be announced at an assembly in 2021.  Any new students or students who were unable to make the day, another morning will be offered early next year.​  Congratulations to all students who participated and a huge thank you to our parent helpers who helped with time keeping!  

Rugby Gala Day.

  

Due to current COVID guidelines our Presentation Day events have needed to be adjusted, please see the following details below.

When: Monday 7 December, 2020

Time: Years K-2 9:30am and Years 3-6 10:30am

Where: LEPS School Hall

Participants: This will be a closed event; only students and staff can attend. The event will be recorded and available to parents via a YouTube link within 24 hours.

      

Keep Your Yoghurt and Fruit Pouch Lids.

1/2R are collecting pouch lids to create fantastic art.  Please drop them off to 1/2R Classroom.

The School Student Transport Scheme.

           

The School Student Transport Scheme (SSTS) provides eligible school students with free or subsidised travel from home to school.

The scheme includes:

  • Free travel to and from home and school on approved metro, train, bus, ferry and light rail services during school term.
  • Discounted travel on buses between home and school with a School Term Bus Pass.
  • Free travel on NSW TrainLink Regional services and long distance coach services for boarding school students.
  • Subsidised travel to and from school in private vehicles in areas where there is no public transport available.

Students with a disability who are unable to travel to and from school under the School Student Transport Scheme may be eligible for assistance under the Department of Education Assisted School Travel Program opens in new window.

Nappies Available For Our LEPS Families.

We currently have a variety of Huggies nappies available.  If you would like some please come to the office.

All library books need to be returned by this Friday 27 November, 2020 (Week 7).

Please help your child / children to return their library books.

All parents and carers need to continue to wait outside the gate for drop off and pick up. 

Should you need to come into the school, please go directly to the front office. 

Please note, we can only have  TWO PEOPLE at a time in the school foyer for social distancing reasons - these protocols are in place to keep everyone safe and we appreciate your support.

The uniform shop will also be open on the 28 January 2021 in the School Hall from 10am to 1pm.
