Holy Trinity Primary Granville

Term 4 Week 6 - 22nd November 2019

From the Leadership Team

Philip Mahony | Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

Over the past couple of weeks we have had the new Kindergarten 2020 children visiting and meeting with their families. I t is a great time to welcome new families to our community of Holy Trinity and an opportunity to showcase the achievements of our school.

Also I have had the pleasure of being in Canberra with our Year 6 students over the last few days. The students were a credit to their families and the school. It was a great educational excursion but also a time together before the Year 6 students finish their time in Primary School. Thank you to Mrs Caroline Taouk and Mrs Stephanie Finch for organising and supervising the Canberra Excursion and to Mr Fisher for his support on the trip.

Next Sunday is the Feast of Christ the King. The solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, is a relatively recent addition to the Western Liturgical Calendar, having been initiated in 1925 by Pope Pius XI for the Roman Catholic Church. Christ the King is the final Sunday of the liturgical year before the commencement of a new liturgical year on the First Sunday of Advent.

Need to Know

Notice required before moving students from school

10 school weeks in writing must be given to the principal before removal of a student or a full term’s fees will be payable.

This requirement is in recognition by the family of the commitment to assist funding of the School by having their child take a place that could have been offered to another family.

Enrolling Now for 2020

If your child turns 5 by 31st July 2020, they should enrol for school for next year. Please collect an enrolment package from the school office and return the completed forms with all the required documentation now.
