SCHOOL COUNCIL

SCHOOL COUNCIL 2020

The School Council at Rawlinson intends to investigate and understand the changing needs of education in the future. We work to establish a framework of guidance and direction to grow students’ individual potential by supporting a broadening of the learning process.

We’ll be working on that over the coming year, as well as working with staff on the next Strategic Plan 2021-2023.

I would like to welcome our new members, Clare, Misty, Rachael and Candice. We all look forward to working with you.

UNIFORM SHOP

The next uniform open day will be the 28th February from 8.15 - 8.45am.

You can still order standard uniform items via the Qkr! app and by paper order form through the office on non-open days.  We need volunteers for this Friday, please come along, there may be some wait times if we have limited helpers.

Volunteers

We have had a number of regular helpers whose children have now left us for high school and I would like to invite *new* volunteers to assist me with the running of the uniform shop.  (I still want you if you have helped once or twice!).  Training will be provided. Please email Rawlinson.uniforms@gmail.com if you are interested in volunteering on open days!

Back Orders/ Out of stock

We are still out of stock of size 4, 6 &10 polo shirts, size small bucket hats,  size 4 Microfiber shorts, Size 6& size 10 fleece jackets.  We have a limited number of Library bags available.

Delivery is due for these items in mid-March. When it does arrive, it is a small order as we had received part of this order already.  More Fleece Jackets and polos are on order and will be coming early term 2. – We hope!

Donations : Second Hand Uniforms

Please remember, we are always asking for donations of all your old Rawlinson P.S. uniform items.  The donations box has been put outside the canteen, or feel free to deliver them to the uniform shop on Friday.  Please remember to cross out your child's name on all items.

COMMUNITY NEWS

HERB GRAHAM RECREATION CENTRE

Once again, the Herb Graham Recreation Centre is offering free soccer and basketball clinics to local schools in the area.

We are offering a session per year group (year 1 and upwards) running for as little as 30 minuets to 1 hour.  All sessions are to be run by fully qualified coaches in each field who have performed at some of the highest levels.  All we ask is for us to hand out some flyers to the children to give to the parents.

If  you are interested in any of these clinics or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Kind regards.
