Holy Trinity Primary Granville

Term 4 Week 9 - 13th December 2019

From the Leadership Team

Jason Fisher | Assistant Principal

Dear Parents and Friends,

As we come to the end of the year it is a great time to reflect on all that we have achieved throughout the year. The students academic achievements were highlighted last week through the Student Reports. The students at HTG should be very proud of their efforts this year. All the teachers are very proud of you. The reports also outline the next steps for learning. The holidays are a great time to continue the learning as well as rest and get ready for the new year.

Year Six Graduation

The Year Six Graduation Mass and Supper was held on Tuesday Night. The night provided a great opportunity to recognise how much the students have grown. The supper that was organised by the Year Five parents was magnificent. The efforts from the Year Five parents was  very much appreciated by all who attended.

A Special Day

Year 6 Fun Day

On Wednesday the Year Six students travelled to Blacktown for Bowling and Laser Tag. The students were extremely well behaved and were great ambassadors for HTG. Congratulations Year Six on being outstanding leaders for 2019.

Great Fun at Bowling and Laser Tag

HTG Christmas Concert

Thank you to all those who attended our fantastic Christmas Concert. Michael Mangan lead us as we sang about Christmas but the students were definitely the stars of the show.

2019 Awards Ceremony

Congratulations to all the students who received an award today. It is great recognition for all the hard work you have displayed this year.

A New Tradition:   At Holy Trinity many of the teachers have taken to a new tradition of touching the foot of the St Mary MacKillop statue at the front entrance of the school. This small act reminds us each day to walk in the footsteps of Mary and follow her mantra of, “Never see a need without doing something about it.” We invite all parents to do the same when entering and leaving our school.

Nativity Making Afternoon:   All parents and grandparents are invited to join their children on Monday afternoon at 1:00pm to make Nativity scenes which can then be used in your homes at Christmas time. We have also invited students from Delany who have siblings at our school to join us. We are looking forward to this wonderful community event.

10 school weeks in writing must be given to the principal before removal of a student or a full term’s fees will be payable.

This requirement is in recognition by the family of the commitment to assist funding of the School by having their child take a place that could have been offered to another family.

Enrolling Now for 2020

If your child turns 5 by 31st July 2020, they should enrol for school for next year. Please collect an enrolment package from the school office and return the completed forms with all the required documentation now.
