Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It's about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. Throughout this week we will be discussing and completing activities about one of our greatest strengths, cultural diversity, and how it is at the heart of who we are. This Friday, 24 March, let's show our support and come together through out our school to celebrate our diversity by wearing ORANGE

Library News

Reminder that Book Club Issue 2 closes this Wednesday (22nd March). All orders are processed after the closing date and are sent home with students as soon as they arrive at school, normally late the following week. Scholastic encourages parents/carers to place orders via their Loop Ordering System (Loop) but payments can also be made through the school’s office.

Overdue library books are beginning to become a little high at present across all years. Students are encouraged to return books weekly but do have a loan period of 14 days. If a student would like to extend their borrowing time with a book, they just need to speak to me during their lesson or at lunch and I can make arrangements to do this. Reminder letters will be sent home this week, ideally with an image of the book cover to help in the identification of the book, to any students who have not returned their book.
